Chinese cuisine offers a wide range of delicious snacks, each reflecting the country’s diverse regions and rich culinary traditions. The variety of the food shows a broad range of mixture of flavours, ingredients, cooking methods and imagination. 

In this three hour workshop, you may try a few selections of Chinese snacks and learn about the rich cultural legacy in food. You will also learn to how to make a Chinese snack. This process can be easily replicated at home so that your family and friends enjoy your Chinese cooking.

Chinese handcrafts, one of the oldest and most diverse traditions in the world, have a rich history that spans thousands of years. These crafts are deeply tied to Chinese culture, philosophy, and daily life, and they showcase exceptional artistry and intricate techniques passed down through generations. 

In this two hour workshop, you will first learn about the cultural significance of the two handcrafts and then how to make them. This is a perfect class for people who loves to explore Chinese culture and find satisfactory in their artistic expression in the hands on experience. It is also a great opportunity for mental stress release and developing patience.

Traditional Chinese painting is a rich and complex art form that has evolved over thousands of years, deeply embedded in Chinese culture and philosophy. It is renowned for its emphasis on nature, spirituality, and the subtle interaction between brushwork, ink, and the composition of the image. The painting often focuses on the themes of nature depicting the landscapes, plant, flower and fauna.

In the three hours workshop, you will use the tool kit (brush, ink and paper) to create a plant or a flower. While learning to paint step by step, you will also experience for yourself how your energy (Qi) affects the marks you lay on the paper. 

Chinese calligraphy, known as shūfǎ (书法), is both an art form and a deeply revered cultural tradition that has evolved over thousands of years. It is the practice of writing Chinese characters with brush and ink, where the physical act of writing itself is considered a reflection of one's inner state, personality, and even philosophical or spiritual depth. Calligraphy is not just about legibility or form but also about the expressive power and beauty of each stroke.

In this three hours workshop, you will learn how to use the Four Treasures of Study( brush, ink, paper and ink stone) to write a few Chinese characters. It is absolutely fun to play with your hands, mind and peek into the inner part of you.
